Thailand experiences three distinct seasons
Hot Season (Summer): The hot season typically runs from March to May. During this time, Thailand experiences high temperatures and relatively low humidity. In some regions, especially the central plains, temperatures can soar, making it one of the hottest periods of the year.
Rainy Season (Monsoon Season): The rainy season usually occurs from June to October. This is when Thailand receives the majority of its annual rainfall. Monsoons can bring heavy downpours and occasional flooding, particularly in low-lying areas and regions along the coast.
Cool Season (Winter): The cool season extends from November to February. This season is characterized by cooler and more pleasant temperatures, making it a popular time for tourists to visit Thailand. Northern regions and mountainous areas can experience chilly evenings, while the rest of the country enjoys milder and comfortable weather.
It's important to note that while these are the general seasons in Thailand, there can be variations depending on the specific region within the country. For example, the southern regions, including popular tourist destinations like Phuket and Krabi, experience a slightly different climate pattern with less temperature variation between seasons.
